Art in Transit 2006-2007

Art in Transit is a project to reflect on and enrich transit as a part of our culture in the greater Pittsburgh area. We hope to support the connection of transit, local artists, and the communities at large. With transit's value and importance to our region and Pennsylvania as a whole in debate, this project hopes to emphasize and strengthen our understanding of transit as a central part of our experience and as a vehicle for sharing and experiencing art.

This project was made possible by the financial contributions of the Sprout Fund and the Heinz Endowments Small Arts Initiative and with the organizational support of the Brew House Association, the Port Authority of Allegheny County, and dedicated Art in Transit volunteers.
